The Legend of Carl
Now everyone sit down and let me tell you the legend of the mighty Carl. Carl had only one power and it is teleportation. The way he uses his power is by wiggling his only big, buck tooth, and this leads us to Carl’s appearance. Now, Carl is a sight to see. He is a huge, red square with two brawny arms and five fingers one each hand. Carl has no legs or toes so again that where his teleportation power comes in handy. His eyes, the two of them, perfect vision which allows him to see very far off if an approaching enemy is coming. That leads us to Domo. Domo is a terrible sight to behold. He has two jet black eyes that seem to penetrate your very soul when he stares at you. He has the power to grow of shrink to any size he wishes of. Domo’s appearance is a small, brown, creature with two arms and legs with no fingers or toes. The last of the characters is Bob who like you and I is a human. The only difference that Bob has is that he is an orphan abandoned by his parents is traveling to New York City to an orphanage to get adopted.
Bob is on is way to the orphanage but comes across a difficulty he has to climb up and over the Appalachian Mountains, but he is afraid of heights. So Bob looks around trying to find a way out of his dilemma. While he is looking around he notices a giant red boulder just lying next to a tree. Not knowing what it is Bob approaches it cautiously with a stick and pokes it. Nothing happens so he pokes it again and the red boulder grows eyes, arms, and mouth and blurts out, "Who dares to awaken the mighty Carl." "Ohm……. Me " Bob answered feebly. " Ok then, so what do you want?" Bob replied saying "Well, can you help me get over those mountains? You see I’m afraid of heights and I have to get to an orphanage to get adopted," Bob explained. "Sure!" Carl exclaimed "Just hold on tight." Not knowing what to do Bob walked over and grabbed Carl by the side. Before Bob could blink an eye he was on the other side of the mountain! Bob starred up at Carl and said "How did you do that?!" Carl looked down on him and said "Magic some might say while others say a mystical power." With this in mind Bob asked " Carl would you accompany me on the trip please?" "Well, I guess I could I have nothing better to do." So Bob and Carl headed out to get to the orphanage.
Hours later Bob and Carl came to a clearing in the woods where both of them stopped on the edge. Bob looked up at Carl and asked "Why did we stop?" Carl looked down at him and replied "There is something else here across on the other side of the clearing." Sure enough there was something staring at them. "What is it?" Bob asked. Carl replied " It’s Domo." "Domo what’s a Domo?" "He is the guardian of this part of the forest, and hates to let people or myself pass by." "Well can’t you just use your powers to get across?" asked Bob. "No my powers don’t work near his land." replied Bob.
"So what are we supposed to do." asked Bob. "I have to fight him and beat him in order to pass by." said Carl. Carl walked out to the center of the clearing and yelled out, "Domo I challenge you to a fight." Domo just stood there starring at him then grew to the size of a huge tree and charged at Carl who just stood there and at the last moment appeared at the other side of the clearing holding a tree. Domo frozen in his tracks the charged at Carl again and then Carl appeared again a few yards in front of Domo where he smacks Domo in the head where Domo gets knocked out cold. Knowing the fight is over Bob runs out of the other side of the forest and says, "That was awesome!" Carl looks down at him and says, "It was nothing and shrugged off the congratulations" So Carl and Bob continued there journey until the reached New York City.
"This is where I must leave you." Carl said. "Why?" said Bob. "Because I cant be see by large amounts of people," said Carl. "Well I saw you." said Bob. "Well I trusted that you wouldn’t tell." replied Carl. "Ohhh," said Bob, "Well thanks for all your help; I’ll never forget you." So with that Carl left and Bob wondered into to the city where he searched for hours until he found the orphanage where he was happily taken in, and was adopted three months later and lived happily ever after.
